A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT

I wear my aligners 22 hours a day

It is strongly recommended that you wear the aligners at least 22 hours a day to ensure successful treatment, and that you change them every 2 weeks (as recommended by your dentist).

I maintain good dental hygiene

Brush your teeth after every meal and before putting your aligners back in. This will help you maintain good dental hygiene.

I feel discomfort

It is possible to feel dental pressure after fitting new aligners. This pressure indicates that the aligners are working correctly. The discomfort will disappear quickly. In the event of pain or an abnormal reaction, contact your dentist.

I only remove my aligners to...

You should always remove them when eating. It is also advisable to remove them when drinking coffee, tea or even smoking, as this could potentially alter the transparency of your aligners. The rest of the time, you must wear your aligners or risk treatment failure. (Recommended wearing of aligners: 22h/24).

I look after my aligners

After each use, brush your aligners with toothpaste, then rinse them in cold water. CAUTION: NEVER USE HOT WATER! This could deform your aligners and render them inactive.
