3. Dr Jean-Marc LEGROS spoke at the Orodent Symposium, LYRA ETK distributor in Algeria, along with Dr Miguel DOMINGUEZ.

4. Dr Thomas MEIER joined the teaching team of the Cycle complet en implantologie and spoke at the 2nd session in Paris 7ème.

Dr Prouhèze comes to us from the south of France, where he studied in Marseille for his CES in biomaterials and his D.U in Odontology and Aesthetic Restoration before going to Montpellier for his D.U in Periodontology and Implantology.

Having worked in private practice and in a group practice, he has been practising implantology since 2008 and inserts almost 180 implants a year!

Presentation of a case published in the Journal of Dentomaxillofacial Science (J Dentomaxillofac Sci) December 2019, Volume 4, Number 3 : 184-187. This document was produced by Pr JF Michel and Dr Legros.

Objective: To present a new technique that reduces the clinical stages of impression taking and implant insertion. To develop a true anatomical emergence profile with the iPhysio® Profile Designer.

Methods: This case presentation shows how to use the new iPhysio® concept to shape the gingiva during healing and how to use this abutment for impression taking before insertion of the final crown.

Results : This simplified procedure shows that Profile Designer iPhysio® abutments reduce the clinical and prosthetic steps in implantology.

Conclusion: In the future, implantology and implant prosthetics will certainly benefit from this technique and improve long-term results for patients.
